Ad-hoc Objectives
For Ad-Hoc tasks, such as targeted approaches to specific companies or contractors (Working with NHS, local councils or main contractors such as Kiers), these will be operated under the BiD standard rate from your BiD hourly retainer.
We provide updates throughout the month on the hours used. When we reach 75% of the allocated hours, we will provide an estimate of the hours needed to complete the month smoothly. Additional hours will be authorised and billed automatically under our AutoPay Agreement.

The Momentum Engine CRM
The Momentum Engine CRM is a requirement for the Business Intelligence Department to operate. All information regarding The Momentum Engine CRM can be found here.
Redirecting Incoming Calls
We do not manage the incoming call line, this will be redirected to your receptionist/designated line. We will require the office number to set this up. If call handling is required we would suggest looking at Moneypenny or Answer Connect.
LinkedIn Outreach
If LinkedIn Outreach is selected, we will require access to the selected account (normally the Director) for who will be reaching out on behalf of. We maintain full compliance in protecting your data. Additionally, LinkedIn Gold is advised in order to send a high level of outbound messages to Persons of Opportunity (POI). This is a recommended add-on.
Designated Contact
We require a dedicated individual, typically the Director or Sales Manager, to handle the booked meetings.
Additional Costs
Additional costs will apply for emails and calls through the software, all details can be found here. New users receive £10 free credit upon signing up. A phone line is also required to be setup within the CRM which is approximately £1-2 per month.
Email Account
We require a email account to be setup for the BID team ("[email protected]"). This email will be used for procurement portal signups, TME setup, and other related purposes.

What happens after a lead has been contacted?
After a lead has been run through the BiD process, we further work on the lead to generate higher levels of success. Where suitable, we implement long-term nurturing campaigns to build high-quality relationships with our identified POIs (Persons of interest) throughout the project. Additionally, once the project is complete, we look to reengage to see if we can identify any remedial or maintenance work (if suitable to your business model). This is especially suitable when the builder owner changes as the property is sold on.
I already have a CRM
For companies already using a CRM, we offer two options: a full migration to The Momentum Engine CRM at our standard rate, or an integration that allows both CRMs to communicate and pass data between each other, depending on the CRM you are currently operating. What happens if I forget to approve a lead?
Leads are automatically approved for Intelligence Reports after 24 hours, if you respond to the Lead with any additional information this will be added to the Momentum Engine CRM. To reject a lead this has to be within 24 hours of receiving the lead.
How do ad-hoc tasks work?
Ad-hoc tasks are raised independently within our systems. From your request, for example "I want to get into Kier", the team will raise this as a project and perform intelligence to identify all opportunities. We will still return with a Intelligence Report and will outline all tasks that will need to be completed. You can action the team to proceed with the intelligence report. This is included within your monthly BiD hours retainer.
Email is the most direct way to reach leads, especially in the construction industry. A survey done by Adobe’s Bizible showed that 30% of Construction Marketers said email marketing was their highest driver of ROI. We tie email outreach in with direct project reference, phone calls, physical letters, LinkedIn outreach and long-term nurturing campaigns which only increases that success rate.
How do I know if I need more hours?
We provide updates throughout the month of the hours used. When we have reached 75% we will provide an estimation of the hours needed to reach the end of the month to keep a smooth flow of operations and request authorisation to add additional hours under our AutoPay Agreement for automatic billing.
What does the BD Team do?
BD stands for (Business Development) Team. Their role involves keeping everything running smoothly, from updating the CRM to identifying new opportunities to pursue. The BD Team are working hard to continue pushing your business forward.
